We live in a modern, glittered, atomic bomb-lashed world where we reached after millions of years of evolution. We stepped into a world where after a lot of struggle, the marginalized got their right, after suffering a long and pathetic history of suppression and oppression. We had created a beautiful world out of hellish, egoistic, torturous, and monarchies.
But just like a pendulum, we are oscillating, i.e., we have touched the modernization, and the pendulum is heading back for one more oscillation where we are heading back to our roots.
In the 20th century, the main focus of every country was to eliminate hunger, poverty, maintain stability, peace, no war, etc but every country enabled itself to provide shelter, clothing, food to their population then they start to use them as their vote banks.
The Divide & Rule, which Britishers started for their benefit, is adopted and inherited by today's leaders. It is commendable this policy is very successful in mobilizing people in the name of religion, Hindu-Muslim, upper caste, lower caste, varna system, South India versus North India.
What were the chief characteristics of the medieval period?
It was the rule on the terms of religion. Every country of the Medieval era was ruled either by Muslim rulers or Christians. Today we are moving towards that.

We designed an established, peaceful, modern Central Asia, but the heart of Central Asia is choking and is ready to die out anytime. Taliban captures power in Central Asia's heartland Afghanistan. A place that was strategically very important for India as the latter had invested heavily in the former. If we don't talk about money because money is not the criteria to judge a situation, but if we talk about the people of Afghanistan!
Every single citizen of Afghanistan is burning in the fire of hell, but there is a hot oil pan for women in that hell they are being raped, abused, forced to become sex slaves, forced to do purdah, forced to drop out of school, forced to follow Sharia law.
After many years of struggle for freedom, they received are dumped into the dustbin. Now their integrity, self-respect, confidence, security of their rights are snatched away by the extremist Sharia patriarch Taliban.
In the Medieval era, women were supposed to do purdah, but as modernization and westernization creep in these practices reduced to a major extent. But since the last decade, a fashion trend is emerging among girls to wear a head covering or hijab, which is not imposed on them but their own. In the past, they force to stay out of the public domain except for women from a few powerful elites, and today, after the arrival of the Taliban, they banned women's education with the bonus of no education for women covered them under the burqa. Earlier she was raped, today she is raped. But as we are becoming modern rape forms are also modernized, e.g., Marital Rape. It existed earlier also, but silence always maintained on the crushed honor of the women. Earlier her integrity is crushed today er integrity is in grave danger.
