To get rid of a depressed and distract state of mind, devotional bhajans are the ultimate remedy. While listening to one of my favorites, one line caught my attention.

So here the context is that Raghukul Shiromani Shree Ramchandra Maharaj along with Guru Vishwamitra and his younger brother Lakshman is in Janakpur, and the occasion was the Swayamvar of Janak Nandini Maithili. The town was transformed into a fairyland as if heaven came on the earth. Mesmerized by the beauty of the town, the duo decided to take a round of the place, and during their tour, they reached an orchard where destiny had planned something very beautiful. His eyes were mesmerized by the view but it was not that of the garden,  but the beautiful maiden whose eyes struck with his and their eyes locked with each other. So here love starts, and the bhajan glorifies this and depicts it so beautifully that an aura spread around the listener and the person's contact with the physical world seems to break off.

But the curious mind bring it back to the place and raised a question that,

If it is good to fell in love with someone at first sight then why does the society of which we are the members oppose it?

Why is the society to which we belong ready to kill the couple in the name of honor killing?

India is a nation where Ramayana is glorified, and Ram is ideal, we listen to the bhajan depicting the connection which Ram and Siya had before their marriage.

This is a haunting question that is raised by the subconscious mind whenever an honor killing case is reported in the news.

We live in the country where our ideals followed the path of love, a land where Shri Krishna planned the elopement of his sister Subhadra with Arjun, a land where Krishna is worshipped along with Radha, not Rukmini.

So when Krishna and Radha in this period decide to live their life with each other then why honor killing?

Why do the devotees of Bhagwan, Shri Ram, Shri Krishna oppose them?

Or our religion teaches us only communal riots, glorifying one's own and criticizing other's religion!

Every single religion of this planet is intolerant.

With these thoughts I dared to ask my mom about this, on the first hand she had no answer and when she answered then it disappointed me.

I am not sure to whom she was convincing at that point in time, to me or herself.

  1. What I learned from Human Societies, Dear Everything is right which works for individuals and vice versa.
The Ancient Indian civilization was extremely Advanced about their relationship, religious beliefs, science & technology, etc. way Ahed of their time. Rapidly time changed and because of several foreign invasions, we lose to retain the same attitude about these things. Now People only choose right and wrong things according to their mindset.
It is very complex sometimes to understand. They always keep on saying these things don't work in today's time but the weird laughable thing - according to them is all kinds of nonsense may work nowadays. ( Salary abhi ke time ki chahiye aur traditions mughal period ke follow kerne hai).

Human Life : Coercion or Consent

What if you come to know that apart from the coercion, some invisible force acts on you. Not to be confused with some gravitational pull or physical violence or discipline you know as a force. This force starts to statute on you from the moment when you become part of this spherical greeny-blue planet. The society you become a part of tends to mold every newcomer into the same pattern that is ideal by that culture. One famous example of this is when a baby is born, then time for getting up in the mid-night, its tempt for the food in the mid-night, its desire that someone should play with the baby at whatever time he gets up. Then all these occur because that newborn is entirely unaware of the protocols of the society.  These are humans formed rules which they have framed for their convenience to maintain the structure of the society and for the smooth functioning of their inheritance, values, moral code of conduct, the socializing agencies like biological family particularly parent...

Revivalism: Towards The Medieval Epoch

Have you checked your watch? Have you noticed that we are heading towards our past! Have you noticed that time is reversing, and we are heading towards the Medieval era! It's not the subject of mockery though the watch that  you are wearing shows you the right time  but the geopolitical watch  is heading back. We live in a modern, glittered, atomic bomb-lashed world where we reached after millions of years of evolution. We stepped into a world where after a lot of struggle, the marginalized got their right, after suffering a long and pathetic history of suppression and oppression. We had created a beautiful world out of hellish, egoistic, torturous, and monarchies. But just like a pendulum, we are oscillating, i.e., we have touched the modernization, and the pendulum is heading back for one more oscillation where we are heading back to our roots. In the 20th century, the main focus of every country was to eliminate hunger, poverty, maintain stability, peace, no war...
